Urja is the screen name of  Randhiir Sharema. He was born in Mauritius and stayed in India where he completed his studies.  His passion for acting, singing and film making landed him in the entertainment industry.

 During his school days he used to participate in Drama Competitions, and he has followed his dream and learnt the Art of Acting from the famous Roshan Taneja Acting School in Mumbai with the Late Professor Roshan Taneja as his Mentor. Singing started as a passion during college days but he worked on the craft doing courses from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in Mauritius, from the Sa Re Ga Ma Academy in Mumbai and also earnt from eminent personalities like Pandit Arun Debhnath, Pandit Devanand Pathak and the Maestro Shri Shailendra Singh  who has given his voice for Rishi Kapoor in many Hit Bollywood Songs. To better his knowledge in Film making, Urja completed a Film Making course and a Cinematography course in Mumbai.

He has worked in TV serials like “Beta hi Chahiye” and “Dial 100 “ in Mumbai . He has Directed and acted in the short movie “Love and Belief” which won the Best Movie on Social Issue at the Nashik International Film Festival.  As a Lyrics writer, Urja penned the Lyrics of many Hindi songs. He has written 4 booiks in Physical education and several articles published in International Journals.

Urja is a gifted writer and has written books, short movie dialogue and screenplays, and the lyrics of many songs which he composes.  He also worked as a Voice Over artist and has given his voice to different characters in Ads and cartoon serials like Bal Hanuman.
